Zeeshan, Mango Lassi tastes a lot different than a milk shake, believe me! Also, even if Mango Lassi was actually a western thing, do you know that just recently I was witness of Sjoerd^[1] ordering a Vindaloo Pizza (or was it Korma?) at a Boston restaurant -- italian pizza with indian-style curry on top. Now, that's what some people might be calling "ignorant of indian cuisine". But actually I think that, like in music, mixing different styles, combining things from different origins is a good thing, and is what makes culture live.
